Pop the Cap on Your Design
Sit down, relax, and sip a drink on us, while we brainstorm the perfect piece of custom jewelry for you. Bring your ideas and even any old metal and stones you may have to reuse in a new piece!
Everything is designed in a specialized 3D CAD software, and milled on CNC machines to create wax models. With these tools, we create all kinds of jewelry, from anniversary pendants to engagement rings and wedding bands.
The design process usually takes 2-3 weeks. We will ask you to come back and review the design, making any changes necessary before we schedule the casting. Once your design is confirmed we can usually cast within 48 hours, but we like to work with your schedule.
Breaking the Mold
We do things differently at Goldworks. We like to get our customers as "hands-on" as possible. You get to go behind the scenes with us and help make your jewelry. Pour your metal, watch it melt, and be the first to touch the rough cast piece.
Invite family or friends and turn it into a party! This is a fun, special, and memorable experience, and we have a lot of fun learning about what brought our customers to our door. Your stories make our job worth doing and keep us going.
The whole experience takes between 30 minutes to an hour. That really depends on the number of parts we are casting and how much you like to talk!
If You Come, We Will Build It
After the casting party, our hard work begins: 2 - 3 weeks of cutting, filing, polishing, and stone setting. We take pictures along the way so you can download and share them with your loved ones!
With an experience like ours, we have found that it is much easier to explain the casting process, and show how much fun it is through photos. It is also just really cool to watch your piece go from rough to finished.
Our jewelers are more than happy to explain each process we use, and will give you a tour of our shop and work areas. We believe in full transparency to make our customers as comfortable as possible.
